A day at historic Friendly Cove, landing place of Captain James Cook is a must. Take a walk to his exact landing sight, tour the original church and chat with the local residents. Stroll along the smooth pebble beach with the waves of the Pacific crashing on the shore and maybe come across a Black bear fishing in the tidal pools.
